This October, I will be taking part in the New York, 60-mile Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk to raise funds and awareness for this life-threatening disease. The walk will begin in Bear Mountain, NY and end in Manhattan.

Did you know that breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women in the U.S.? More than 42,000 women are expected to die of the disease this year alone. There is no way to prevent breast cancer, but if it is detected early, it can often be treated successfully.

As part of my commitment to this event, I have agreed to raise at least $1900 in pledges.
